The design work on these are, of course, fantastic but the copywriting is equally wonderful.

I’ve joined ronbailey , piscesinpurple and crookedindifference at this tumblr. Follow, ask, submit photos or stories.

I know you probably already follow these guys. But if you don’t, you really should.

“I would go down and see a Mariner game if my son had tickets or something but other than that I’m not going to make a big effort,” said Don.

Well at least they’re committed to the idea. So they’ve got that going for them. Which is nice.

Best desk ever.

Trying to get my work blog back up and running (I’m hoping that using Tumblr makes it easier). This one’s a bit of a write-up I did this morning after taking Wired’s new iPad app for a spin…

Just tossing this out, gang.

As a pilot program? Try not reading Twitter @ responses from people you don’t follow.

Just try it.

I’d never ask people on the bus if they liked what I just said. And, if I did, I’d never be surprised when they respond with half-literate grunts and a demand to know who the hell “Renny Dess-carts” is.

Noise, poop, and wanky little bags of sad don’t deserve a place in your awesome head.

Pilot program.

Of course no one outside one’s inner circle could have anything of value to contribute to a discussion, eh? That’s sad, really. Yes, there’s a fair amount of rabble and robot @ replies out there, but there’s also some thoughtful responses and alternative perspectives being shared.

If one can’t be bothered to read replies (not even necessarily engaging with those other users), what’s the point of having a public Twitter stream?

Might as well go “private” and keep to your sandbox…
